1. How the platform works
- Every ad is paired with a hardware scan captured by the Inspectify desktop tool. The scan (CPU, RAM, storage, battery, ports, keyboard, display, etc.) is displayed publicly on the ad details page.
- Each listing exposes the seller's phone number and email. Buyers contact the seller directly, arrange an in-person viewing, inspect the laptop, and pay the seller face-to-face.
- Inspectify LapStore is a listing platform only. We do not hold funds, do not ship laptops, do not mediate payment, and are not a party to any sale.
- We do not verify scans manually. Buyers must independently confirm the device matches the scan before paying.
- Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their title, photos, description, contact details, and asking price.
2. Pricing & Predictions
- The seller's asking price is the only price paid. The predicted-price range shown on the ad is a machine-learning estimate (±10%) based on the scan and is for reference only.
- Negotiation, payment method, and meeting location are agreed between buyer and seller directly. Inspectify LapStore does not process any payment for listings.
- We never ask a buyer or seller to pay us in order to complete a sale. The only money that flows through Inspectify is the optional Verified Seller bundle fee (see §4).
3. Accounts
- One account per person. You must provide a valid email and phone number.
- Passwords must be at least 6 characters. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform (fake listings, spam, harassment).
4. Verified Sellers
- Verified Seller status is granted after a one-time payment for a bundle (20, 50, or 100 premium slots) and manual verification within 24 hours.
- Verification requires the account name the payment was sent from, the bank/wallet, and the transaction ID. Mismatches will be rejected.
- A verified seller chooses which of their ads to mark as Premium. Each mark consumes one slot from the bundle. The blue tick stays on those ads permanently — even after the bundle is used up.
- When all slots are consumed, the blue tick on the seller's profile is removed automatically. Unmarked ads are shown as regular listings. Buying another bundle restores the profile tick and adds more slots.
- Status can be revoked if we detect listing abuse, scam reports, or chargebacks.
5. Favorites & Privacy
- Favorites are private — the seller is not notified when you heart their listing.
- We store only what you submit (account info, ads, favorites, messages) and use it solely to run the marketplace.
6. Safety & in-person meet-ups
- Always inspect the laptop in person before paying. Use the scan on the ad as a checklist — serial, battery health, peripherals, storage.
- Meet in a public, well-lit location. Never pay a deposit or "booking fee" in advance of seeing the device.

7. Contact & Disputes
- All disputes must be reported via the Contact page, inspectifylapstore@gmail.com, or +92 319 6172319.
- We mediate disputes within 48 hours but make no warranty about their outcome — final resolution is between buyer and seller.
- Because payment happens directly between buyer and seller, we cannot issue refunds. Your recourse is the Consumer Protection authorities in your province if the seller has broken the law.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Inspectify LapStore is a listing platform. We are not a party to any sale, we don't handle payments, and we don't warrant that any device matches its listing.
- To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from transactions, interactions, or use of the service.
